2012 Families Of The Year

We would like to thank and honor the Families Of The Year for 2012.
Calling All Writers: Submit a Father Story!
The Parenting Matters Program of Family Guidance Center is actively seeking short stories about fathers from Alabama men, women, and children/youth. You may submit a story about how your father influenced you, or how being a father changed your life. These can be happy stories about fathers or fathering, or stories that share the challenges of growing up without a father's involvement.
In 2013, Parenting Matters plans to publish a collection of Alabama fathering stories. Writers can submit their story in hard copy or electronically via email. Stories may vary in length from a few sentences to a couple of pages. We ask that all stories include the writer's first name or initials, age, and county of residence.
